The panel consisted of major venture capitalists from throughout New England and Director Kappos was a terrific co-host. Karp Strategic makes major donation to Maine Lighthouse Museum: John Karp and his wife Heidi Bishop recently donated critical interior optics for the lens illuminated behind them in the photo to the museum when they noticed they were missing from the display.  John is fortunate to have two such Fresnel Lenses in his home and a commercial property he owns which were salvaged from the Portland Head Lighthouse and discovered by John years later.  These irreplaceable optics will help the museum’s display more accurately exhibit the powerful characteristics of these extraordinary lenses.
